    PM Shri KV AFS Borjhar has always been pioneer in encouraging students in participating in different competitions and exhibitions related to science. Science activities help children to better understand the environment they live in, develops analytical thinking, problem solving and coping skills. Science and nature activities are also important in developing children’s creativity and NCSC,INSPIRE, RSBVP etc. are that platform which encourages students a sense of discovery, doing some project on problems through various steps and then finding the solution with scientific and proposed for future development. Every year students participate with full enthusiasm at school level, cluster level, regional level and national level under guidance of their mentor teachers. School provides them with all guidance and facilities to encourage their curiosity and learning in science and technology so that they excel in field of science and research. Other different competitions like SPOT,VVM etc.are also held every year where our students prove their potential and excel in them.

    National Children’s Science Congress
    The objective of National Children’s Science Congress programme is to exhibit creativity and innovativenes, more particularly to solve a societal problem experienced locally using methods of science by the school children . It is open to children of the age group from 10-17 years covering all background either school going or out of school system, belonging to geographic, language and cultural regimes across the country and open to all children including children with disabilities.

    INSPIRE- MANAK
    The INSPIRE ( Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research) – MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspirations and Knowledge), being executed by DST with National Innovation Foundation – India (NIF), an autonomous body of DST, aims to motivate students in the age group of 10-15 years and studying in classes 6 to 10. The objective of the scheme is to target one million original ideas/innovations rooted in science and societal applications to foster a culture of creativity and innovative thinking among school children. Under this scheme, schools can nominate 5 best original ideas/innovations of students through the website every year.
