About KV AFS Borjhar, Guwahati

Kendriya Vidyalaya Borjhar was set up by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under Ministry of Human Resource Development, in 1973 at Air-Force Station (Mountain Shadow), Borjhar, Guwahati. It is about 18 Km from Guwahati Railway Station on the way to Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Air-Port, It is situated beside National Highway No.37, the life line of North East Region. On the eastern part of the Vidyalaya there is Guwahati University and on the west is L.G.B.I Air Port. Azara Railway station is on the northern Part nearly 2 Km and with State Institute of Rural Development in its southern part.
